PRECISION FARMING

ECOFARM CABO VERDE, aiming at the constant transformation and valorization of agriculture in Santo Antão and in the country, welcomes AFORTES CONSULTING – Chemical Engineer Bárbara Fortes and Janina Cabral as the newest partners of this project that started implementing good practices in agriculture since 2020, in order to make it more sustainable and respectful for the environment.

WATER CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT

Quality control of irrigation water is therefore one of the objectives of good irrigation management, in order to ensure that it is in a condition that favours cultural development, and as a consequence, obtaining higher yields.

SOIL MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT

Besides Water quality control, we’ll also implement soil collection and chemical analysis. As we know soil chemical analysis is an important tool to obtain a satisfactory agricultural production.

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

Perfecting farm management to improve the cultivation process and, consequently, increase the profitability of farming is a practice that has been going on for years but is not common practice among us. Thus, managing a farm aims to optimise the entire planning of agricultural production for better profitability.
